Doug Consul's Hall Beach photos taken in the summer of 1960

1. The nursing station/building that formed the start of Hall Beach.  (In the summer of 1960, there was only the nursing station building and a cluster of packing boxes, in which the locals were setting up house.)

2. The building in the foreground was a Kenting air survey office (nursing station is in the back, centre).

3. View from the old AA tower, 300ft high looking north towards the Dewline air strip/lower camp. The large building at the bottom left is the hanger.
