BAYFORD LODGE - THE DAN DARE STUDIO - YEAR 1958

This page is dedicated to Joan Porter

The following booklet was gracefully given to me on April 7, 2002 by David Britton, one of the prime organizers of the Eagle Exhibitions and an avid Dan Dare collector in U.K.

Joan PorterThis booklet commemorates the placing of a plaque on Bayford Lodge, 17th November 2001, by Bourne Hall Museum and Eagle Exhibitions in recognition of Frank Hampson and his team. All the photographs were taken in 1958 by Joan Porter, one of the original Frank Hampson studio team members. The booklet contains 10 pages of photographs never seen or published before. Since the booklet was printed in only 100 copies, it is already considered a very rare collector's item.

Thank you for the booklet David.
